Zoe McDonell

Zoe McDonell is a textile artist specializing in natural dyeing using plants, windfall lichens, and mushrooms from the forest. She has been teaching workshops and giving lectures and demonstrations on historical textile techniques for over 20 years. When not teaching, Zoe is an ecologist and studies how forest communities can be more effectively managed to conserve them. She lives with her husband and children on the west coast of Canada.
