David will share his journey since he immigrated to Canada, exploring themes of inclusion, kindness, justice, and love, in the context of Christian Community
David Burrows has engaged in ministry as a layperson, deacon and priest for the past 30 years. After immigrating to Canada, David grew up on Baffin Island, in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Prior to arriving Diocese of Kootenay, serving in Kokanee Parish, his ministry appointments were in southern Ontario and Eastern Newfoundland & Labrador. David has served at all levels of the Anglican Communion, with a keen emphasis on pastoral care, justice initiatives, interfaith dialogue, supporting vulnerable populations, and innovative ministry projects. David has two adult children, and shares life with his partner Heather. When resting from ministry, David enjoys writing, archaeology, cycling, kayaking, skiing and gardening.
