Paul Silveria

Paul Silveria has been playing old-time clawhammer banjo for more than 20 years. He first learned to play at house parties in Portland, OR, and now calls Vancouver, BC, home. Paul has taught banjo at NimbleFingers and other camps around the region including Georgia Strait Music Camp and Foothills Acoustic Music Institute. He co-facilitates a monthly open old-time jam for Pacific Bluegrass and Old-time Music Society. Paul’s banjo playing and square dance calling have been featured at Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Mission Folk Music Festival, Cowichan Valley Bluegrass and Old Time Festival, and many more.
