Kirsten Maier PhD

A Jungian psychotherapist with 25 years’ experience in counselling psychology, Kirsten studied Life Review in her student years at UBC. She has lead groups and workshops for Lutheran churches in BC and California, non-profit organizations and First Nations communities. She has a private practice, Therapy in Depth, in San Francisco and is currently training at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. She lives with her husband in Marin, California.

Kirsten’s desire is to support community, helping each of us live life fully, offering our authentic gifts in these challenging times. She believes it is vital to listen to our lived experience, and that doing so nourishes growth in our relationships to self, others and our inner life. She renews her spirit with friendships, hiking, music making and travel.
