Jason Wood
Jason Wood is the Youth and Families Minister at St. Laurence Anglican Church in Coquitlam, BC, where he has worked for 6 years. He graduated in 2023 with a Masters in Theological Studies from Vancouver School of Theology, and is now finishing a Certificate in Children, Youth, and Family Ministries. Before ministry in the Anglican church, he lived in intentional Christian community in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, worked as an urban farmer, and organized for climate justice with ecumenical Christian network Earthkeepers. He currently lives in Coquitlam with his wife and 3-year-old-daughter.
As the musician The Forest Archive, Jason has released multiple albums, including this year’s Night Prayers, a collection of 7 songs “for the night of creation and the night of the soul – which are sometimes the same thing”. You can find his music on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms. He loves to sing in community and write songs that bring fresh, grassroots energy to the ancient words of Scripture and Christian tradition.
