Herta Klassen

Herta creates in watercolours, acrylics, and mixed media. The journey began when a friend invited her to take a watercolour class and it was love at first sight and first stroke. Now, twenty years later, the journey is still just as exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
It was later in life that she discovered her name means ‘of the earth’ and it suits her perfectly!
She truly is most happy in the outdoors and the Nicola Valley where she lives with her husband in an inspirational paradise. Herta takes the beauty around her and translates it into art that connects with the heart and soul as a quest that she doesn’t think she will ever tire of in her lifetime.
