Creative Journaling: On Being Human (Tuesday mornings)

Tuesdays, 9 – 10:30 am PT/10 – 11:30 am MST

September 15, 22, 29; October 6, 13, and 20, 2026

$75/six weeks online ZOOM

What does it mean to be human? To love, to lose, to wonder, to create, to begin again? In this gentle, creative journaling class, we’ll explore the ordinary moments and extraordinary experiences that shape our lives. Through guided prompts, addictive art techniques, and reflective writing, we’ll discover new ways to tell our stories, honour our experiences, and connect with what matters most.

No artistic or writing experience is necessary, only curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Come as you are and leave with pages that reflect the beautiful, imperfect, deeply human journey that belongs uniquely to you.

In Creative Journaling, a theme is presented, and participants are invited to use words, imagery and a variety of mixed media techniques to unearth, explore and record their unique responses, thoughts and emotions. Participants are united in hope, support and camaraderie as they uncover their inherent creativity.  A safe and creative space is born where negativity is banished leaving only room for meaningful connection, self-expression and healing.

Payment process

Here are the in’s and out’s of our on-line payment system. The option remains to call toll free 1 – 866 – 694 – 2409 and our office will assist you with an E-Transfer.

Go to www.sorrentocentre.ca and click on “Upcoming Retreats, Workshops and Events” in the very top banner. Click on “Register now” for either Tuesday or Thursday. Once on the right day, click on “Register Now”. Fill in your information and press continue.
Choose Your Program: this is where you choose the zoom program.  When registering for 2 guests please choose 2 programs.
You’ll now be at the Provide Payment step. Choose from the dropdown Credit Card or E-transfer.  If you choose credit card it will take you to the form to complete credit card information.
Complete that information and click Register Now.
