2025 Week 3 Adult 19+: Paint an Enchanted Journey

We are so beautifully and profoundly entangled with this earth and have the honour of cohabiting with it. We get to watch, in awe, it’s glimmers that brighten and enrich our journey. To be enchanted by its visual and soul-filled wonders is a blessing. We, as painters, will attempt to interpret and, in the most exciting and humbling ways, with pigment to canvas, recreate and reflect these glimmers of light.
This course is open to all levels of experience. Students may substitute acrylic paint.

Supply List:
Please bring your own paints, one canvas and brushes, an easel and palette. Canvas size should be between 20”x 16”/24”x 18”. Note: if you are a quick painter, please bring more canvases.
Paint colours and brush sizes Jim will be using:
*Vandyke brown
*Burnt umber
*Sap green
*Ultra marine blue
*Yellow ochre
*Cadmium yellow light
*Burnt sienna
Brushes:
Filbert
1- 1/4”
1- 1/2”
1- 3/4”
1- liner or rigger
1-2” house brush
Paper towels, brush cleaner and water will be supplied.
